MEDITERRANEAN MARINAS

Even after Brexit the Mediterranean is still a good place to keep your boat and enjoy sailing for six months of the year.  You can have three months in the summer, then go home for three months and then come back to your boat again for another three months in the winter.

Under EU law your boat can remain in the EU for 5 years with no tax issues after which you have to take it out of the EU for 24 hours then repeat. It is your British or non EU passport that limits you to the 90/180 day rule not the boat.

Gibraltar and the Costa del Sol is on the same latitude as Southern Sicily, Malta, Southern Greece, Tunisia and parts of Turkey, so there is no reason why you should not be sunbathing at noon on Christmas day.  From here the coastline curves north into France where it sometimes snows in Marseille.

The book is 100 pages and has charts or pictures on every page and is based on the very successful series of the same name in the YouTube channel -

 https://www.youtube.com/c/SailingGently

It has 6 chapters with comprehensive coverage of of all the marinas on the same latitude as Gibraltar where you may reasonably expect to sunbath on Christmas Day!

HOW DOWNLOADS WORK

1) You click on the 'Buy Now'  and that will take you to PayPal where you make the payment via a Credit Card or your PayPal account.

2) Having completed the payment you will be taken to a page with a link for the book you have purchased - very simple page that will look something like this:

click on the link  PDF   and the book will download into your 'device'.

You can choose a folder for it to go into or, normally, it will default into the DOWNLOADS folder..

It is in PDF form so you can print it easily in hard copy or a printer will make it into paperback form with spiral binding or similar.

If you want a hard copy made from your download it will cost around 5 Uk pounds + P&P then try using https://doxzoo.com.

I do not have personal experience of them but they appear to offer a very good service at a reasonable price.

If you have any problem with finding the download send me an email to  michael@michaelbriant.com and I will send you another link as soon as I am online....
